CLINICAL SUPERVISION · FOR COUNSELLORS & TRAINEES

A reflective space for your client work

I offer Integrative counselling supervision to qualified, newly qualified and trainee counsellors, providing a supportive, reflective and collaborative space to explore client work, ethical and professional practice, and ongoing development.

Supervision is offered one-to-one, online and by telephone UK-wide, and is a separate service from my counselling work.

SUPERVISOR IN TRAINING · CPCAB LEVEL 6

I am an accredited counsellor currently completing the CPCAB Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision and developing my practice as a Supervisor in Training.

If you are a counselling student, please check with your training provider whether supervision with a supervisor currently completing their Level 6 supervision qualification can count towards your course requirements.

My approach to supervision

My supervision approach is grounded in an Integrative framework, with particular interests in supporting practitioners working with complex trauma and C-PTSD, neurodiversity, chronic health conditions and sight loss, as well as those working across general therapeutic practice.

My approach is informed by my professional counselling experience and my lived experience of chronic health conditions and sight loss. I aim to offer supervision that is thoughtful, collaborative and focused on helping practitioners develop confidence and deepen their reflective practice.

In my supervision practice, I draw on the Integrative Developmental Model (IDM) and the Seven-Eyed Model of supervision, bringing them together in my own integrative way of working.

The Integrative Developmental Model helps me tailor supervision to where you are in your professional journey, whether you are a counselling student, newly qualified or an experienced practitioner. The Seven-Eyed Model offers a way of exploring client work from several perspectives: the client, your interventions, the relationship between you and your client, your own responses, our supervisory relationship, my own responses as your supervisor, and the wider context in which the work takes place.

As a BACP accredited counsellor, I work within the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions, which guides my supervision practice as well as my counselling work.

Frequently asked questions

Who do you offer clinical supervision to?

I offer Integrative counselling supervision to qualified, newly qualified and trainee counsellors. If you are a counselling student, please check with your training provider whether supervision with a supervisor currently completing their Level 6 supervision qualification can count towards your course requirements.

How are supervision sessions delivered and what are the fees?

Supervision is offered one-to-one, online and by telephone UK-wide, with flexible monthly scheduling. Sessions are 90 minutes and cost £50, with limited reduced-rate places at £40 for counselling students. A free 25-minute discovery call is available to discuss your supervision needs and whether we would be a good fit.

Is supervision confidential?

Yes. Supervision is a confidential space. When discussing client work, I ask that you anonymise clients and avoid sharing identifying details. As with counselling, there are some limits to confidentiality. These include serious concerns about risk or safeguarding, or significant ethical or professional concerns, which we would aim to discuss together first wherever possible. As I am currently completing my Level 6 supervision training, I take my supervision practice to my own supervisor and training group, where any discussion is anonymised. For counselling students, any reports your training provider requires will be agreed with you in advance. Full details are set out in our supervision agreement.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a supervision session?

Supervision sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours, or missed sessions, will be charged the full session fee. I understand that emergencies can happen and will consider these on a case-by-case basis.
