About Fran

I'm Fran, a BACP-accredited integrative counsellor and accredited sight loss counsellor. I offer online and telephone counselling across the UK for adults and young people aged 16 and over.

Much of my work is with people living with complex trauma (C-PTSD), neurodivergent people, people with chronic health conditions, sight loss or disability, and people going through big life changes or questions of identity. Counselling can help if you are coping with a new diagnosis, sight loss, burnout, or the feeling of being unseen or left out.

Lived experience, alongside my training

I live with sight loss myself, so I bring lived experience as well as professional training. My lived experience doesn't replace my training — it sits alongside it. What it can mean for you is counselling that is compassionate and down to earth, where you feel understood without needing to explain everything.

My approach is trauma-informed. That means paying attention to how past experiences shape the present, going at a pace that feels manageable, and making sure you have a say in how we work.

Working together

Together, we'll explore your thoughts and feelings so you can make sense of your experiences, build confidence, and feel more grounded and connected. You don't need to have all the answers before starting counselling. What matters is that you can begin at your own pace.
