25-Minute Discovery Call
This call is an opportunity for you to determine whether counselling feels right for you and whether you'd like to work together. We'll discuss your needs and expectations, and I'll provide an overview of how the counselling process works. It's a relaxed space to ask questions and decide if you'd like to move forward with sessions.
Initial Assessment Consultation
The initial assessment helps us explore your needs and goals as we begin working together. We'll discuss what brings you to counselling and what you hope to gain. The timing of the session is mutually agreed.
Individual Counselling Session
Regular sessions are held on an agreed day and time each week. During these sessions, we'll work together to explore your experiences, challenges, and goals.
Limited concessions and supported spaces may be discussed during your initial free 25-minute discovery call based on current diary availability.
Availability
I currently offer counselling appointments during the following times:
- Weekday evenings: 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

- Morning appointments (9:00 am – 10:00 am) may be available on request

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance. This allows me to offer the appointment slot to another client who may need it. Cancellations made within 24 hours or missed appointments (DNA) will be charged the full session fee.
I understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise, and I'll always consider these on a case-by-case basis. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please feel free to contact me.
Please note: an initial assessment needs to be conducted before the first individual counselling session.
Clinical Supervision
I am currently undertaking the CPCAB Level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision and am offering clinical supervision as part of my supervised practice.
I welcome enquiries from qualified counsellors and counselling trainees in their second year of training or above, subject to their training and placement requirements. Limited concessionary places are available for trainee counsellors. Supervision is undertaken within the requirements of my Level 6 training and with appropriate clinical oversight.
Professional note for practitioners: my approach to supervision is grounded in reflective practice, collaborative exploration and thoughtful consideration of clinical work, using the same 5-pillar model (Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt, alongside somatic and IFS-informed parts work).
Areas of particular experience: C-PTSD and complex trauma · neurodiversity-affirming practice · chronic health conditions and lived experience · sight loss and visual impairment. Experience of working with adults and young people aged 16+.
